The New Aarcomm Belly Pack Remote
A lighter, simpler option for concrete boom pump operators
The Aarcomm team is thrilled to announce that we are now in full production and fulfilling orders for the new Aarcomm Belly Pack remote. This remote is designed to be lightweight, user friendly, and make controls and data available at-a-glance.
Equipped with a wish list and direct feedback from concrete boom pump operators, our product team set out to bring to market a wireless belly pack remote that is:
lightweight and ergonomic for operating comfort, and
has a straightforward interface that ensures ease of access to crucial functions without unnecessary complications.
And it appears that our product team has “nailed-it”.
When we asked Mike Goncalves, a concrete boom pump operator with Gastaldo Concrete, about the new Aarcomm Belly Pack remote he said, “I like the two point harness and the device is nice and light. The screen is really straight-forward and the operator can easily access the functions of the controller without resetting.”
Also on the wish list from concrete boom pump operators was:
controls that enable you to focus on the task at hand rather than hunting for buttons or switches, and
clear display menus that simplify operation AND provide real-time feedback on machine status.
Scott Sutherland from AJ’s Concrete (who is also known as Canadian Concrete Pumper on Youtube) commented on why he’s loving the new belly pack remote. “I really like the pump on, pump reverse function that’s right on the joysticks. It’s super handy having your hands right there if the pump plugs. It's just a motion of a finger, rather than taking your hand off the stick and hunting down the right button to turn the pump off. I also really like that the Aarcomm Belly Pack is simple. You don’t have to toggle through several screens. You can do everything right in front of you.”
