INVENTORY ASSOCIATE

Description:

Aarcomm Systems is seeking an Inventory Associate to join our Production team. The ideal candidate should have experience with electronics manufacturing. You will be responsible for working with our contract manufacturers to make sure they have adequate supply of raw materials in order to build our products.

Responsibilities: 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain and organize stock to ensure an accurate count of inventory levels
  • Assembling product kits to for building sub-assemblies
  • Coordinate with CMs to ensure they have accurate inventory to build our products
  • Accurately picking, counting, and labeling parts for production operations according to pick lists
  • Perform data entry of items into the ERP system
  • Shipping and Receiving
  • Create and submit purchase orders
  • Expediting orders with vendors
  • General administrative and production related duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary technical diploma or equivalent education and experience
  • 2+ years hands on experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Strong organizational skills and the desire and ability to learn new things
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment that is focused on priorities and end results

MARKETING COORDINATOR

Description:

This Marketing Coordinator role is responsible for spreading Aarcomm’s brand awareness within the construction and utility mobile equipment vertical markets and managing the overall brand marketing strategy the company. Overseeing a team of digital marketers, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for implementing marketing strategies for digital and print mediums, analyzing sales and marketing key performance indicators, and networking with other B2B partners and customers. The objective of this role is to generate leads and to further develop Aarcomm’s marketing strategy for digital and print mediums.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Create awareness of the company and its products and services for potential customers through printed ads in industry publications, published technical articles and direct mail campaigns
  • Help organize & attend industry trade shows across North America
  • Manage digital campaigns (such as Google Ads, Email Marketing, & Social Media Ads) and Social Media platforms (strategy, design, content creation)
  • Coordinate and perform general marketing activities including seasonal campaigns, presentations, general signage, brochures, project photography & create other marketing materials– online and/or digital
  • Assist with power point proposal preparation
  • Network with prospects, customers, and partners
  • Work with and coordinate activities with third party marketing and social media organizations
  • Develop and update reports from customer databases
  • Manage in-house CRM to prepare target lists, manage campaigns and prioritize daily activity

Qualifications:

Description:

The Digital Marketer role is responsible for creating regular social media content and spreading Aarcomm’s brand awareness within Aarcomm’s target markets by implementing the overall marketing strategy. This role involves working in a B2B environment and generating inbound leads from within the specific industries, such as concrete, water & wastewater equipment, and cranes. The Digital Marketer is responsible for Aarcomm’s social media presence, engaging with potential and existing customers, and implementing marketing strategies for digital mediums and across Aarcomm’s social media platforms.
This role primarily focuses on generating new inbound leads within Aarcomm’s target industries, as well as making sure that the right customers, equipment manufacturers, associations, and partners are receiving relevant information and staying informed.

The main objective of this role is to generate inbound leads for the sales department and to increase Aarcomm’s brand awareness.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Generate inbound leads through B2B networks using various forms of communications such as social media, email, and telephone 
  • Networking with customers, partners, industry associations, and prospects to increase Aarcomm followers on different social media platforms. 
  • Help organize & attend industry trade shows across North America 
  • Create awareness for the company and its products and services for potential customers through digital mediums, including email and social media 
  • Create graphics for Aarcomm’s social media platforms (design & content creation) 
  • Execute general marketing activities including seasonal campaigns, project photography & create other marketing materials– online and/or digital

Qualifications:

ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN

We are currently looking for an Electronics Technician to join our Customer Support team. This role involves understanding and troubleshooting customer problems by phone and by email. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair our radio remote control products. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and passionate and is looking for a challenge in a growing company. We value creativity and innovation, and willingness to step up to the plate. An ability to work in a team environment is critical.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist customers in troubleshooting products over the phone and by email
  • Repair and refurbish products including electronic circuit boards and wire harnesses
  • Create return material authorizations and repair requests in the ERP system
  • Write failure analysis reports for warranty claims and service requests
  • Maintain technical support documentation

Required knowledge, skills and abilities: 

  • Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or Electronics Technologist Degree 
  • Electronic circuit troubleshooting
  • Ability to read schematics and carry out repairs on printed circuit boards
  • Ability to hand solder.

  • Assembly of cable harnesses, connectors, and wire terminations
  • Perform simple electrical and continuity testing of cables
  • Building and repairing mechanical test stations
  • Contributing your expertise to help solve design and assembly problems, and to help develop and improve assembly techniques and documentation

Required knowledge, skills and abilities: 

  • Post-secondary technical diploma or equivalent education and experience
  • 5+ years hands on experience in mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent hands-on ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Proficient with the use of hand and power tools in a proper and safe manner
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Experience with soldering

PRODUCTION ENGINEER

Aarcomm Systems is seeking a Production Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for new product introduction and ongoing production support of our existing products. You will troubleshoot technical issues throughout the production process and provide training and support for the Production Team.

Accountabilities:

  • Assisting in the transfer of designed products to manufacturing including review assembly drawings and test specifications, and markup feedback to design team
  • Develop, document, implement, and maintain manufacturing methods needed to produce products.
  • Provide training and support for Production Technicians
  • Identify design improvements for DFMA, and communicate effectively back to design team
  • Perform root cause analysis of manufacturing non-conformance and recommend solutions.
  • Manage and implement Engineering Change Orders
  • Trouble shoot, maintain, and optimize manufacturing equipment.
  • Incoming inspection of critical components   

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical Technology
  • 5+ years of work experience in EMS or similar manufacturing environment
  • Must be excellent with technical writing of process documents
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, Bills of Material, wiring diagrams and related engineering documentation.
  • Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and decision-making skills
  • Experience with production systems, including MRP and ECOs
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving
