DIGITAL MARKETER

Description:

Aarcomm Systems is seeking a Digital Marketer to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who is highly organized and has a knack for creating catchy digital content that gets people talking. You can produce dynamic copy that produces results, while paying attention to the smallest details. You are not afraid to experiment with ideas, are analytical, adaptable, and able to pivot based on feedback.

We are looking for someone to support content creation on our blog and other channels, to create captivating marketing collateral and other written materials, to effectively manage and plan social media content, and to contribute to successful marketing campaign efforts including new product launches.

Responsibilities: 

  • Contribute to the creation of dynamic copy for blog articles, email newsletters, and marketing collateral.
  • Create, review and update copy for B2B marketing materials (Brochures, landing pages, etc.)
  • Perform SEO research and contribute to efforts to boost audience growth.
  • Adjust topics, using SEO target keywords.
  • Proofread and edit content, as required.
  • Brainstorm and create innovative new content ideas for social media and for marketing campaigns.
  • General management of Product Launches/Updates, Campaigns, Sales, Company News
  • Paid Advertising (Google, FB, any other channel we might try)
  • Manage social media accounts
  • Report and provide analytics on the performance of social media.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in an agency, in-house marketing department, or similar role.
  • Understanding of digital platforms, including social media channels and Google Analytics.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SEO best practices and keyword search.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to contribute innovative ideas to advance organizational goals.
  • Knowledge of the B2B space is essential.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Strong proofreading and copyediting skills.

ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN

We are looking for an enthusiastic, considerate, proactive individual with a strong desire to work in a fast-paced, team based collaborative design environment to help us develop next generation technologies.

We are currently looking for an Electronic Technician to join our team in Coquitlam, British Columbia. You will have the opportunity to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair our radio remote control systems. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Repair radio remote control system products and circuit boards
  • Assist our customers to troubleshoot products
  • Assist in processing return material authorizations and service repair requests
  • Write failure analysis reports for warranty claims and service requests
  • Work with the Production and Product Development teams to recommend improvements to our products.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities: 

  • Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or Electronics Technologist Degree 
  • General or advanced knowledge of radio technology is a nice to have
  • Ability to read schematics and carry out repairs on printed circuit boards
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to contribute positively to the team environment
  • Willingness and desire to learn and improve
