Aarcomm is proud to be recognized as a Verified Design Consultant for the Gumstix® embedded computers. Gumstix® devices are powerful, complete Linux®-based systems that can be the brains in a wide range of products ranging from robotics to industrial monitors. Gumstix® devices can deliver notebook-level performance in form-factors smaller than a stick of gum (hence the name). 

 

Aarcomm has experience designing custom baseboards for the Gumstix® Overo™ COMs for our customers' applications, ranging from control and data acquisition to image processing. The ease of use and rapid development afforded by Gumstix® products allow us to realise significant time and cost savings for our clients.

 

We are experts in designing mixed-signal hardware which interfaces-to and hosts the Gumstix® computer-on-module (COM) products. We can also assist our clients in developing Linux® device drivers and application programs to run their custom hardware.
